I have been providing loving, caring day care for 17 years at this time. My husband and I have five children in ages from 34 to 14. When we had our older ones, I stayed at home to provide day care and be with our children. When we decided to start ourfamily over again 18 years ago, I knew I wanted to do the same thing. Kids are such a special gift from God. We feel when the kids are here they are at their second home. This is a good thing because I probably cared for most of them through the week more of their waking hours while their parents are at work. We have lots of learning and fun. Even after 17 years it is a joy to know that I will be getting up and greeting those smiling faces at my door each morning. When some of the older children I have cared for come by to visit and say they still think of the years they were here and want to still come by and visit and see how we are doing I feel we must be doing something right. I have had infants and up in my care along with special needs children over the last 17 years. I couldn't imagine my life any other way. It is such a fulfilling job for me. I can assure you your child will get 110% from me caring for them or more. Before I started doing childcare again I worked for a Fortune 500 Company. When I was hired there I was an accounts payable administrator. I also had to fill in answering a multi-line switchboard. After being there one year I was ask to become the supervisor of the accounts payable department. Doing this meant I had to ensure that the department ran smoothly on a daily basis, deal with any issues or problems, talk with vendors about their payments or invoice discrepancies. I supervise eight employees, do month and year end close outs. Also I do payroll for my employees. This meant you certainly had to be able to multi-task.
