About
I am a licensed kindergarten teacher with Alexandria City Public Schools. After ten years in the classroom, I have decided to stay home with my two children (1.5 and 3.5 years) and open a home daycare for toddlers and preschool aged children. Our programis perfect for working families whose children are ready for a little more than just daycare. While enrolled in Stanford Day School, children will be exposed to developmentally appropriate learning activities in a loving, nurturing environment. Activities include arts, crafts, dance, music, story time, whole group lessons and imaginative play. We will engage in both free play and loosely structured play in our beautifully finished basement and fenced-in yard. We have a Fairfax County permit and participate in the USDA food program.
