Soaring Stars School Readiness Program

Hi! My name is Ms. Vaughn. I am providing in-home childcare with a focus on school readiness for children ages 4 and 5. I am a licensed North Carolina teacher and mother of four wonderful children ages 10, 5, 4, and 1. I have been providing childcare forover 15 years. I have been a teacher in North Carolina Public Schools for 6 years. As a parent, I understand the dilemma in finding affordable, quality care. This is why I am transitioning from the public school system and providing a more one-on-one approach to ensure that each student is receiving a stellar education and is able to enter school performing at or above grade level. My program will include daily phonics, reading, writing, math, science exploration, monthly field trips, and Spanish immersion.
