Seashell's In-home Child Care

I am a CA licensed provider of 36 years, and I have openings for full and part time. I am looking for families who want their children to receive gentleness, kindness, and loving care. My promise is that your child will receive personal attention. I base my rates on the amount of hours needed. I pro-rate the cost, since many parents have flexibility in their work schedules, leaving the children less hours in child care. I am willing to work with parents in negotiating costs.

I have completed the certification procedures to help fight against Covid-19. I have specific procedures established with CFOC, Caring for Our Children, which provides details for cleaning, sanitizing and disinfection. Recently I've purchased an ActivePure Air-Clean System which improves the air quality and reduces over 99% of micro-organisms in the air and surfaces. It includes reducing SARS-CoV-2 virus which causes COVID-19. My goal and determination is to keep all my children and their parents, healthy and safe.

I have established a program designed for children to have arts/crafts to grow educationally, academically, and provide hand/eye coordination. Children's crafts helps build letter recognition. I have created activities for exploring and reinforce learning, by practicing colors, shapes, and matching. We take walks where children explore their surroundings, and learn from the neighborhood. A provider to children is really rewarding and I have experienced bonds with so many families. Flexibility helps me manage stress, and face challenges with calmness.

Babies and children are very curious and want to know everything that is around them. We have found lizards, bunnies, snails. We hear woodpeckers, firetrucks, and helicopters, and we see birds nests, bees and flowers. The kids are amazed.
The best way to show your child that I respect them is by having soft, gentle hands. I listen to what they are saying and understand what they are expressing. When I use kind words and manners, children copy by sharing, waiting your turn, saying please and thank you.
