Hi, I'm Katie. I have lots of experience with taking care of children. I've volunteered for city-run summer camps in the past, where I earned a "Volunteer of the Summer" award. I have also volunteered at after school sports programs where I work with girls aged 3rd to 5th grade. I started working as a mother's helper when I was a young teenager, but when I got into high school I started to babysit for multiple families. I play softball at the college I am attending, so I am very athletic and can keep up with high energy kids. As for personality, I am very adaptable to any type of kid and have many interests, so I will be able to relate to your child. I currently work at the YMCA part-time in the Kid's Clubs. I work with infants (3 mo) to 5 years usually, but also sometimes work with older kids 6-12 in the other room. I am CPR + AED trained and am background checked/fingerprinted, etc through the YMCA. I also nannied for a family for a year last year, which was a great experience.

In high school I worked as a mother's helper for children in my neighborhood who were 7 and 10 when I first started. After a year I became their babysitter for when their parents went to shows and other events at night. I babysat for other families in my parish; one family in particular had children 8 and 11. I also have many family friends that have younger children and at get togethers I help look after the children so their parents can socialize.

I am a college graduate with a degree in psychology who plans to go back to school to acquire a degree in child development (I minored in Early Childhood development, but am thinking about returning to school to pursue something in education or special needs therapies). I started doing a mother's helper job at the age of 13 and since then have worked with many families long term (2+ years). I also have experience working at a Montessori preschool as well as being a camp leader and a lifeguard who taught swim lessons. I have experience with children with autism and children with ADD/ADHD. Most of my childcare experience is with children under 7 years of age. I am a very engaging sitter who believes that while playtime is important, it never hurts to make games an enriching or educational experience. I am relatively laid back, easy-going, and playful, but have no problems enforcing the rules set down by parents. Light housework doesn't bother me at all, as I feel I am here not only to care for the children, but also lend a helping hand as needed. I am punctual, reliable, and very organized. I love pets and am an avid fan of both reading and arts and crafts. I do enjoy movies (I have every children's movie just about memorized), but I'd much rather play, explore, and learn than sit in front of a screen all day. Hi, my name is Nicole! I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree with Literacy, Learning and Leadership with an emphasis on community education. Within the next year I hope to start working towards a masters degree in early child education to pursue my dream of being a kindergarten teacher. My major from the University of Arizona was apart of the College of Education so I have taken a variety of courses on topics ranging from special education, principles of teaching, and how to teach elementary math. I have worked with children my entire life, starting when my brother was born. In my earlier years of childcare I would watch younger children at my brothers baseball game, and I was a mothers helper for a family friend. I've babysat, nannied, tutored and mentored children, so I have worked with children in a variety of settings. I have experience with all ages, ranging from three months to high school, and I also have experience with multiple children at one time.

I've been looking after children on and off for over five years. I've been a mother's helper as well as an individual babysitter while parents go on date nights, watched children ages 8 months, 3 years, 5 years, 11 years. I am also skilled at managing many pets, having owned up to five animals at a time in my own household. Hello, I'm Hailey! I am 22 years old and I just received my masters in theater arts at UCSC. I am hoping to find some part or full time work in a job I enjoy, as I also continue to pursue the research and work I was doing in school. I am a hard working, dedicated and creative person. I love working with kids and animals. I have worked with children since I was 11, starting as a mother's helper and babysitter. I have also worked as a summer camp counselor and preschool teacher. I have a lot of experience in the Theater Arts as a stage manager and actor. From this, I have gained research skills, writing skills, critical thinking and organizational skills and I am good at thinking on my feet. I also know how to resolve potential issues and deal with problems efficiently and effectively. I enjoy learning new things and trying out new ideas. I take decisions parents make for children very seriously, and always aim to do my best in supporting both the parents and children when I work with a family. I am not afraid to ask questions when I am uncertain of something, and I am also not afraid of receiving criticism when appropriate. My experience ranges from infant to preteen. I also have experience in working with children with special needs through my mother. Working with and watching her has given me the opportunity to learn and work with several children with different disabilities.
