Hey parents! Welcome! Looking for care for your little ones? We are a licensed family daycare. We like to have fun while learning and we provide a safe and structured learning environment for the kids
Call 301-862-1783 and schedule a tour, we'd love to have you! We provide before and after care. Drop ins are welcome. We also provide meal for the kids: lunch, and a snack. Our curriculum includes, but is not limited to: Reading (identifying pictures, listening skills, math, enhancing motor skills, hand eye coordination, P.E/dance. Nature walks (weather permitting), promoting social skills-teaching the kids the importance of etiquette. Activities will change according to the children's needs. Call us for more info. My daughter has been going to Rising Star since May 2017 when she was 2 months old. Joan and Anthea have become her second family. They were incredibly supportive of my extended breastfeeding (18 months!) and complied my all my care requests to the letter. I would not be able to go to work every day without trusting them completely.
My daughter is happy and thriving! We're coming up on two years, and I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I am so fortunate to have met Ms. Phillips and the rising star crew. This place is a God send I can't recommend this day care enough. The owner is always available, the facilities are up to date and cheerful, and the workers are loving and engaging.

Ms. Phillips she's a very enthusiastic woman. Her personality is very warm and inviting she puts a lot of energy into what she knows is best. She always love teaching and working with kids very helpful and caring individual. I can say without a doubt my kids would be safe here.

Ms Anthea Phillips is a very studious young lady. Her compassion for her students is remarkable. She really takes the time to work with the children and the results are astounding! I definitely recommend her services!!
