We know sometimes you just need a helping hand and other times you may need care around the clock. We offer many services and tailor them to your specific needs based on a free in-home, face-to-face assessment. After the assessment we can design a care plan that meets your specific needs and select a caregiver that is right for you. We promise to to care for your loved one as if they were our own family and treat them with compassion and kindness. We want you to live home independently longer and are here to helpyou.<br/><br/>Rather Be Home provides non-medical personal care, companionship, homemaking services, transportation and FREE Assisted &amp; Independent Living Placement Services. We also provide the only check-in service in the area. What is a check-in service? Simply put, a caregiver will go to your loved one's home and check-in on them.<br/><br/>Our professional staff will enter the home and perform a list of duties to ensure the safety and health of your loved one. The list of services include but are not limited to the following:<br/><br/>VITALS: check blood pressure, respiration &amp; pulse.<br/>ENVIRONMENT: make sure walkways are free from clutter and there is unspoiled food in the refrigerator.<br/>MEDICATION: ask when medication was last taken.<br/>MENTAL ALERTNESS: ask what the date is and the time.<br/>VISUAL ASSESSMENT: are there any skin abrasions and bruises.<br/><br/>Caregivers will also ask about pain, mood and general attitude.<br/><br/>All information will be logged into a cloud based system you may access in real time.
