I have a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I have been a nanny for 5 years and have worked with children ages newborn - 12 years old. I now have 2 children of my own, 22 months old and 3 months old.

My family and I live in a new homethat is smoke free. We have two dogs who are friendly and love children. They will be separated from the children a majority of the day. I have decided to watch children in my own home recently due to lack of job security. My hours vary depending on what people need. I will accept 3 additional children other than my own making a total of 5. I say only 3 because I like to go places with the children. I love the library and parks. We do live within walking distance to a park. My rates are as follows: 1 child: $150 week for 40 hours. 2 children: $210 week for 40 hours. Children will be doing something different every week. We will have themes for each week and do activities accordingly. I would like to go to the library every week to pick out books with the children that go with our theme. Parents will be able to see what their children do everyday via a paper that will be sent home with them. It will have what they ate, when they napped and when they used the restroom (as a mother I know how important it is). Parents will also receive a letter every week letting parents know what we will be doing the following week.
