Abida has been our daycare provider for about a year now. We were very nervous that we would not find the best fit for our son and unsure of the home daycare setting. As soon as we met Abida, she was so warm and welcoming. We immediately felt comfortable and our fears disappeared. She takes her role seriously and works with us as a team to make sure our needs are being met. My son loves seeing her, and sometimes even doesn't want to come home because he is having so much fun! She has become an extension of our family and has gone above and beyond her "job description" to help out in extra ways since I was diagnosed with Cancer. We are extremely sad to be leaving Abida's care due to a job relocation to Richmond. Abida is the most amazing care giver and has truly become an extended part of our family. We love Ms. Abida so very much and can't imagine what our lives will be like without her caring for our children. She is so very compassionate and loving. Our children love seeing her in the morning and are reluctant to leave in the afternoon. She helps ensure that they are eating healthy and even cooks delicious healthy foods for them too. I know we're not going to find anyone else like her, but so very thankful for a couple of years that we had together!

Abida starting taking care of our daughter when she was 11 weeks old. Abida is such a gentle, caring soul. The love she has for the children she cares for is visible and my daughter was always happy when I dropped her off with Abida. Abida does a great job communicating with the parents on the routine and gives a good rundown of the day's activities in the evening. I always enjoy getting updates and pictures throughout the day. Our daughter was slower to crawl and walk and Abida offered her expertise and guidance to us as well as worked closely with our daughter on movements that would help her crawl and walk. All the kids at Abida's are happy and smiling, which is a testament to her loving nature.

My wife and I cannot say enough good things about Abida. Our daughter has been going to Abida for 6 months and we could not live without her. Abida not only cares for our child but cares for us. She has provided us with good guidance, being new parents their really is no instruction book and she is a great sounding board with good experience filled ideas. She is very helpful and cares for your child as if it is her own. Our daughter loves Ms. Abida and smiles everyday when we show up. It is scary trusting your new child to someone and trust me we were scared but Abida has put all those fears at ease. Abida is truly a part of our family as our daughter is hers. We have known Abida for 20 years now. My son was born pre-mature by 2 months and initially Abida came to my home to help out with my son when I had to go back to work. She was a god send, she helped out with my son for three months. Later when my son turned 9 months, I started taking my son to Abida's home and she took care of him util he was 3 years old. Abide was like a second mother to him, very caring and loving. She would cook fresh food for him, he especially loved her chicken biryani (chicken rice). I am very grateful and thankful to Abida for helping me out in my time of need.

Our 9 month old has been going to Ms. Abida since January, and we have nothing but great things to say about her care towards our son. We appreciate how she discusses and works with us on our parenting plan, meals and his naps. Whenever we drop off or pick up our son he is constantly smiling, which is reassuring that he`s happy and comfortable there. I also appreciate how we receive text messages and pictures of him throughout our day. It constantly brings a smile to my face seeing him so happy.

I can't say enough good things about Ms. Abida Monastra! My 18 month old was having a hard time adjusting with other providers. We were desperate to find childcare and decided to see how he would do under her care. He loves her! I have a peace of mind knowing that my child is in capable and trustworthy hands. He enjoys interacting and playing with the other kids under her care also. Ms. Abida is very flexible and accommodating with our schedule. She has even dropped him off at our home later in the evening. She genuinely loves kids and is a wonderful person. I highly recommend her to anyone who is considering their options!
