Millings Piano Studio

Welcome to the Millings Piano Studio, where excellence has no bounds! Thank you very much for your interest in piano lessons. Studying the piano is an awesome, life-long adventure and I'm excited to partner with you as you continue your exploration.

Asalways, my goal in teaching lessons is to inspire a life-long love of sound and the creation of music in my students. We'll study the entire repertoire from Bach all the way to the Modern composers such as Lowell Liebermann and even pop music. We'll learn what makes great music great and we'll discover how to express that greatness through developing a powerful piano technique and a sensitive musical expression. Whether you would like to head towards a career in music or otherwise, I will provide a foundation that will enable you to find freedom, passion, and power in your playing, while discovering yourself as a musician and a person. As always, music does require regular work to achieve and maintain a high performance level, but I will provide small stepping stones so that the work does not feel onerous.
