I am a newly stay at home Mom, that is in the process of obtaining my state license for in home child care. I have a 3.5 year old and a 1 year old. For a few years my husband and I have debated the issue of me staying home with the children, and after twodaycare facilities closing on us this year we decided it was time. I dreaded calling what seemed like 100's of childcare providers and no openings, so I decided I could help a family by starting on in my home. I have lots of experience with children. I graduated with my BA in Educational Studies, was a nanny, camp counselor and 3 year old preschool teacher through the YMCA. I believe that children crave consistency and organization. I would love to have a family join ours where we can complete lots of activities while making learning fun! Learning can be done at any age and never has to be boring!
