Seeking care for my mother in her 80s. Services needed: companionship, bathing / dressing, meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. Looking for someone with 3+ years of experience caring for seniors. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be anxious, pleasant, independent. I'm looking for someone who is patient, fond of pets. My mother is a trained classical pianist and still plays today. She is definitely not a fan of contemporary music so please don't bring that into the house. She recently fell down the stairs and broke three ribs and cracked a vertebrae in her back. She also has a poodle-mix mutt dog that is very protective of her. Most time the dog is easy to work with but stubborn. She is known to growl and nip at you if she doesn't like what you are doing. She can be put in a kennel for safety if need be. Mom is a light eater but does a pretty good job. The house she lives in is a multiple level home with stairs up to her bedroom and down to the laundry. The kitchen is on the main floor but there is no bathroom on the main floor so she either needs to go up or down to use the bathroom. Currently she is using walkers to help maintain her balance.
