About
At Lasting Learners Academy our certified teacher provides many different learning opportunities for our little scholars. Lasting Learners is currently enrolling 3-5 year olds for full time and part time care. We use a researched based curriculum calledMother Goose Time. We implement the program Handwriting Without Tears & other resources that are used by Round Rock ISD & Leander ISD. Our little scholars will participate in literacy circles, math circles, morning meetings, learning centers, nap time and snack/lunchtime all in our main room. We then have our Lasting Learners Little Library where we will have story time, puppet shows, dramatic play and the kids will be able to check out books to take home and enjoy with their families for the week. We also have our Lasting Learners S.T.E.A.M. Room which will be setup for rotations. Our little scholars will have the opportunity to participate in an art activity, a build & create activity, a technology activity on IPads & a science observation/experiment! All of these rotations will connect back to our "big idea" that we will be learning about throughout the week. Then of course we have the backyard with a playhouse, slides, sandbox, water table & our Lasting Learners Little Garden.…
