K's Playce Family Childcare

K's Playce is a small, loving home daycare that has been providing professional, dedicated childcare, in a loving home environment, since 2006. We cater to families looking for top-notch care in a family setting. We keep our numbers very small (3 - 4 children at a time) in order to ensure a peaceful, loving environment with plenty of one-on-one attention. Conscientious care, loving attention, positive reinforcement, & excellent nutrition are our priorities.

We live in a newer, four-bedroom home in a quiet family neighborhood where we can take lots of walks and trips to the park. Each child has their own private room and crib for napping. We have a dedicated playroom and our entire first floor is childproofed for your child's comfort and safety. We offer only exceptionally healthy meals and snacks and all food (except breastmilk or formula) is included in the cost of care. Children are sent home with a daily summary detailing all meals, naps, diaper changes, and daily activities.

My husband and I have raised four wonderful children of our own, I have a bachelor's degree in developmental psychology, and (pre-children) I worked as a professional nanny in both Seattle and Washington D.C. I am certified in First Aid and CPR and have been background checked (my husband and I are both swim coaches, as well, and work for two school districts).

We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and charge a competitive $6.00 per hour rate. For less than the cost of institutional care, your child can instead spend their days in a loving home environment. We are certified by the IRS and claim and pay taxes on all of our income, so you are free to use your childcare flex-spend account or claim the childcare tax credit.
