Mission
Our ultimate goal is to create a loving atmosphere and stimulating environment for your child. We welcome your constructive criticism and suggestions on how we may better serve you and your child.
Staff
Our staff is highly experienced, CPR trained, and efficient. Our staff will ensure that your child is involved in educational activities both inside and outside throughout each day. We include art, music, dance, and computers, as appropriate, for the age and development of each child.
Daily Schedule
The daily schedule is fluid and flexible in order to accommodate the needs of each individual child. Feeding times, diaper changes, and individual care occur throughout the day, as needed.
7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Arrival/Breakfast/Free play-
Breakfast includes fresh oatmeal, cream of wheat/rice, milk, and juice.
9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Music & Dance-
Singing and dancing to music from around the world.
9:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Cognitive Development-
Play is focused on spatial reasoning via shape games, puzzles, and blocks and vocabulary development via learning of colors, letters, and numbers.
10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. Snack/Outdoor Play-
Play focused on gross motor skills - ball play, balance games, and stretching. Sometimes we take field trips to the park!
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Indoor/Outdoor Play-
Free play including dress-up and other creative exploration.
12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Lunch/AM Session Departure-
Each child is offered a nutritious homemade lunch, which may include soup, meatballs, sandwiches, carrots, milk, and/or juice.
12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Session Arrival/Story time-
We prepare to settle down for naptime with an age appropriate story.
1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Nap time-
Children nap or rest quietly.
3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Wake-up/Snack-
3:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Art
We color, paint, and glue using our imagination and creativity.
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Outdoor/Indoor Play/Departure-
Play focused on gross motor skills such as, ball play, balance games, and stretching. Sometimes we take a field trip to the park!
Sessions
JamaJaz offers flexible weekly scheduling and drop-in care. Drop-in care must be arranged IN ADVANCE, and availability cannot be guaranteed.
AM Half Day Session: 7:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. PM Half Day Session: 12:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Full Day Session: 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. For more information please contact me.
