Mary is a skilled teacher - you'll see that right off. She will be patient, firm, and gracious with your child. She is a clear communicator and an out-of-this-world planner/organizer. Field trips every week - yes, please!

If you are looking for someone to partner with you so that you can provide your kids with a really amazing education, Homeschool With Mary is the way to go! She's super-fun and extremely flexible, but she's also very clear about her expectations. Mary sets high expectations in order to appropriately challenge her students and then clearly communicates that she knows they are capable. As they work, Mary will give the kids the encouragement and the support they need to be successful. She strikes the perfect balance between firm and loving. She'll be sure to hit the skills, but she'll also be sure to give her students exciting and rich experiences-- at home and by seeking out the best field trip opportunities. I would trust Mary not only with my kids' education, but also with their hearts and souls! Do it!

We used Mary for occasional summer care two years ago for our two boys and were very pleased with the quality of care! Our children were offered a balance of indoor and outdoor play, healthy snacks, and exposure to new friends and educational adventures. Mary's children are fun, easygoing, and have adopted their parents' hospitable spirits. I'm always amazed at how adding more kids to the mix doesn't seem to stress Mary out like it does me, but she seems to flourish with high levels of activity making her a perfect match for my rambunctious fellows:)

Mary is a gifted teacher and has such a patient, kind and joyful spirit. She has a broad range of experience with students at all levels. She is very organized and has engaging lessons.
