Hello, we are Tammy Fairchild and Jacque Varty, owners of Griswold Home Care serving Upstate SC. Our mission is to refer caregivers that provide high quality home care for seniors and loved ones throughout Greenville, SC, Spartanburg, and neighboring areas.

In today's world, finding the right care can be very complex and stressful for families. As owners and directors of the Griswold Home Care in the cities of Greenville and Spartanburg, SC and their surrounding areas, we are proud to own a business that holds human value to the utmost importance, demanding high standards from the caregivers we refer and our own staff.

Prior to joining the Griswold Home Care family, we served as public servants with a government health district and in the field of Organ Procurement and Transplantation. Tammy earned a graduate degree in Human Donation Science and a Master of Public Health (MPH). She has years of experience working with grieving families navigating very difficult end of life decisions while working within the organ donation and transplantation field. A grief counselor, advocate, surgery assistant, hospital liaison and educator - Tammy wore many hats as an organ procurement coordinator. She is deeply compassionate and empathetic, fueling her desire to find realistic solutions to improve the quality of life for people in need. As owner of the Spartanburg and Greenville branch of Griswold Home Care, Tammy continues to find ways to enrich the lives of others in her hometown and its surrounding areas.

Jacque worked as a Registered Sanitarian with a local government health district working closely with adult protective services and children services when it came to unsafe and unhealthy environmental conditions within homes, often functioning as a mediator. Jacque also worked closely with nurses and home health aides seeking solutions for client's regarding their living environments.
