Golden Heart Child Care

Golden Heart Child Care Program is a licensed and registered family child care home located in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia. We provide a safe, nurturing, and quality child care program to children from young toddler to school age. Our child care program offers services that are designed to meet the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical needs of children. We understand each child's need for play, individual attention, and companionship and work to meet those needs throughout our daily activities and practice. Golden Heart also recognizes children as individuals and is very flexible in terms of providing opportunities for children to have freedom of choice as well as help them to develop at their own pace and on their particular level. It is important for children to use their imagination and to be able to express their ideas and feelings creatively through language and the use of mediums such as music, physical activities, dramatic play, and art and crafts.
Golden Heart Child Care recognizes the important role of family in the lives of our children and work hard to provide opportunities for parental involvement as much as possible. We also recognize how important it is for children to have a positive self image of themselves, and the role it plays in fostering competence, a sense of independence, and self esteem.
At Golden Heart Child Care, we understand the important role we have as child care professionals in the lives of the children and work hard to meet the needs of each child daily through our developmentally appropriate practices and professional development workshops and training. We are fully cognizant of the fact that you are entrusting to our care your most precious treasure which is your child. Nutritional meals and snacks are provided daily and transportation is available. Large outdoor play area. CCIS subsidy is also accepted.
