The School of Arts & Sciences is a smaller Duck's Nest. It is specifically designed to encourage your child's emotional and developmental growth towards independence.
The smaller campus allows us to focuses on group dynamics which help your child tosharpen his or her skills to transition smoothly into a larger environment. We offer arts and sciences as well as dance and language programs supported by an incredibly rich supply of teaching materials. We enroll children ages 3 and a half to 5 years 9 months (age in September). A charming structure found at the base of Rockridge community; conveniently located near Rockridge Bart and Hwy 24 and Hwy 13. You will find a stimulating environment offering a tumbling room, a wonderful library, a science area. We have a magically outdoor dramatic play area, featuring a Cape Cod two story climbing structure, a small but sweet organic herb garden utilize for cooking projects. We encourage physical activities with one-on-one tennis, bike riding, and body pulling. We also inspire our children to use their artistic abilities by encouraging process rather than product. It is important that we lead our children into their own path of interest through offering choices and variety of age appropriate activities.
