Before Administration changed and shook up management of facilities, it was a wonderful caring company, specifically Pleasant Meadows in Dover-Foxcroft. Our family couldn't say enough positive things about it. Sadly enough practically everything has changed, very much for the worse. Over the last several months, several employees left, residents became unhappy and felt like they didn't matter. It IS residents that make DLTC able to be in business!
Our family member who passed after nearly 2+ yrs. there, was never acknowledged to his family even in the form of a card of condolence. In recent time, company policy, to my understanding, was for management to be compassionate and in acknowledgment of a resident's death to the family. Our family was very much in communication with DLTC over the term of his residency there. After all it was his home. Another company who has become all business and no heart.
It is heartbreaking and disturbing.
