Childrens Place, The

The Children’s Place is a nonprofit preschool in San Carlos where kids ages 2–5 learn and grow through play. Since 1981, we’ve been helping children build confidence, friendships, and the skills they need for kindergarten in a safe, nurturingenvironment. <br/> <br/>Our 5000 sq ft outdoor play area features a large play structure, balancing rocks, tricycles, scooters, a sand box and more! The yard also features a covered porch for use year round, and a large deck with running water and tables to serve as an outdoor classroom. <br/> <br/>In addition to the outdoor play area, we also have a 1000 sq foot edible garden that our students care for and enjoy! <br/> <br/>Our teachers create hands-on, engaging activities that make learning fun while supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, and academically. Families love our edible garden, outdoor play spaces, and even our friendly pet chickens, which make every day an adventure.
