We provide full medical management, customized supportive living services, home making, medication reminders, meal preparation, restorative exercises, transportation, errands and socialization.
We specialize in post-rehab and post-hospital stay, especially for those with movement disorders, Parkinson's, strokes and generalized muscle deconditioning.
Our services fall under 3 categories:
#1. CARE-GIVING: services are provided by home health aides, companions and life enhancement caregivers.
#2. Chronic Illness & Symptom Management: These services are designed to reduce frequent trips to the hospital and rehab facilities. The care programs are designed by nurses and a geriatric care specialists.
#3. CARE MANAGEMENT & CARE COORDINATION: These services are provided by geriatric care managers. The goal is to make long distance caregiving easier and more gratifying for the long distance or the very busy family caregiver.
With us, you will only pay for the care you need. There are NO minimum number of hours of care, you pick your caregiver and the payment plan that suits your unique situation.

Please do not hesitate to call Caregivers of the Potomac with whom my husband has received care for two months. These have been very been very challenging circumstances. Melody and her staff and caregivers have been kind, understanding ,helpful, and compassionate.. This would have been impossible without them. Again, do not hesitate to call them.

Caregivers of the Potomac supported our loved one in a number of scenarios, home companionship and care, post hospitalization and through extended inpatient therapy. This was such a relief for us and our loved one. We had peace of mind, continuity of care, benefited from their medical insights and care oversight and our loved one didn't need to feel alone or scared. Caregivers of the Potomac provided care to my step-father for the last several months of his life, as he was essentially bed-bound with cancer. Throughout the entire time, the aides were helpful, friendly, kind, and capable. In many cases they went above and beyond the call of duty on his behalf. Likewise, the company's owner, Melody, was flexible, caring, and willing to rise to the challenges that arose. I am thankful for their services.

Our family is very grateful to Melody and her caregivers who have been caring for my very elderly parents for the past year, allowing them to continue to live in the comfort of their own home. Melody really does decrease the stress of taking care of my parents. She and her assistants are available 24/7 for any problems, and they are very responsive to meeting our needs quickly whenever we have an issue. Melody works very hard to make sure that we have the best caregivers for our needs. All of her caregivers have been professional, friendly, trustworthy, and caring. I can definitely say that Melody has helped us enormously by providing daily caregivers who best fit our needs and schedule. I think it would be very difficult to find this great service elsewhere. Caregivers of the Potomac is more than Excellent. When looking for caregiving I saw their website and really liked them, and I called and talked with Melody and I knew absolutely this was the place for me. She is wonderful. Melody's love for her grandmother carries through to her care for her patients/clients. She arranged every detail, lifted worry off me. She and her excellent company provide warm, giving, exceptional care. My caregiver was Latoya--she is so sweet, kindhearted, warm, friendly, and gives superb care. I always want to have Melody's company for any help and assistance I will need.

We have received continual care for a loved one since March 2018. We are so grateful to Caregivers of the Potomac for their kindness and excellent companion care staff who consistently meet and often exceed our needs.
Our patient is NOT elderly, but suffered many broken bones and injuries from an accident. He had very limited use of his arms and was not steady on his feet for several months. Melody came to our home, assessed our needs and matched us with a wonderful care companion who has been very helpful and kind. She feels like a member of our family.

I needed full time care for my mother with alzheimer's. I was hesitant about working with an agency, but Melody has been wonderful and she completely addressed all of my concerns. The aides are all CPR/first aid certified, and they have been kind and respectful towards my mom. My level of stress has decreased significantly since I've had their help. I don't worry about my mom when I'm away at work because I know she's in good hands.

I have used their services on four seperate occasions and had a wonderful experience each man. Melody was able to accommodate our needs on very short notice and Is very caring. The caregiver, named Johnson, was extremely punctual, professional and easy to talk to. I would recommend calling Melody when you need help with a loved one. I will continue using their assistance in the future.
