Part-Time Nanny Needed For Two Children in Baltimore-Must Love Dogs and have a DL and a Vehicle

Part Time $15 – 15/hr Starts 03/01 Baltimore, MD
My name is Leyda and I am a Care Specialist with Care.com assisting Christy and her family in their search for a part-time nanny to provide care for their 6-year-old twin girls starting at the beginning of March. The caregiver is needed from 6:15 am to 8:00 pm on Sundays and Tuesdays. There is flexibility in the starting date. Duties are to provide entertainment for the children by playing games, puzzles, going outside for a walk to the park, doing art and crafts, and other fun and engaging activities. The nanny will also help the family by occasionally providing school drop-off and pick-up for the children when needed. Additional duties include heating up the children's meals and have them ready for the children, also keeping the areas cleaned and organized after finishing playing and eating. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience taking care of multiple children, is CPR and First Aid Certified, takes initiative, is independent, and knows how to keep children entertained and engaged while also teaching them important things like helping with house chores. Furthermore, we are looking for a caregiver that is up to date on all vaccines, is flexible, patient, reliable, and with good communication skills. If you love to play with children outside and do fun learning activities with them, and also love large and friendly dogs, we are looking to connect with you! The family is offering a time-off package as a benefit in addition to the hourly rate of $15 for long-term caregivers. Please note we take social distancing very seriously and ask that the caregiver follow all local and state safety guidelines.
