I was prescribed a TENS machine to help with some of my pain issues (I also work with a medical supply company in order to have a portable nebulizer so that I don't necessarily have to go to the hospital every time my asthma acts up. Well I got this at a larger chain-type store.
I decided to support local business by going to the medical supply business above, Bowman Home Medical and Respiratory Services.
Well that was a mistake.
I had been presccribed a TENS unit, they had one brought it up front, told me it was "easy" to use and sent me on my way.
Well it was far from easy to use. I brought it to my pain management doctor and she said, "It's the medical supply company that must make sure you know how to properly use all equipment that they give you!" Not a surprise - also consistent with my experience in getting various nebulizers over the years (they don't work forever)
I went back and they replaced everything free of charge but I STILL had to use up a physical therapy session being taught how to use this TENS machine. I think this place should not even be in business. I would NEVER go there again, nor would I even dream about referring anyone else there.
Even if you want a small friendly place... this is not that.
Their central billing service off in Minnesota, also, tried to double bill me. I needed a family member's help to straighten that out. Go elsewhere! And good luck, with whatever medical issues that are bringing you to look at this!
