Beth and Alice provide very talented and caring care givers. I felt so close to them as we worked together to provide my son's care, it was as if I had a new family. Their care givers' hearts are in their work and your loved one will know it.

We want to tell you how much we value and thank God for the caregiving of my Dad, Bob Adams, by Beth Kivuti and Alice Mundia. Words cannot capture our feelings of gratitude and appreciation for the years of service they extended to my father.

I clearly remember the day that Dad (after his second stroke) told me exactly who he wanted on his caregiving team. He had met an amazing person at the Rex Rehab center in Apex and she must be part of the caregivers, her name was Beth Kivuti. After a single meeting with Beth it was apparent that Dad was spot-on.

A short time later after the daily schedule was being created Beth mentioned Alice Mundia as a person she would highly recommend helping with Dad's care. And what a great recommendation that turned out to be.

It was clear, especially after hospice was called in, that the professional training Beth and Alice had received was well-learned. They knew how to manage Dad's physical and emotional needs and not under the best of circumstances. At times over the years, my father out of frustration would not be very pleasant to be around. And yet, I never heard a word of complaint from Beth or Alice. Having grown up with this man, I can tell you this ability took faith, personal fortitude, and kindness. We were so impressed with this skill.

Dad's greatest desire was to remain in his home until the very end. He had witnessed his own mother and father and one wife pass on in a nursing home setting and he made me promise never to let that happen to him. That promise could not have been honored had it not been for the dedicated service of Beth and Alice. They became as much a part of our family as they were trusted professionals.

Making the decision on how best to provide care for an aging or infirmed parent or loved one is one of the hardest any family can make. We did the research and I can tell you that selecting people, not agencies, is the right way to do it. Finding people who consider caregiving a calling and not just a job is hard to do. But, if you are considering Beth and Alice for that solemn responsibility, you will not be disappointed.
