We are a home based preschool program located in San Jose, in the Evergreen community serving children from 2-6 years old.
Anna's Academy believes that children learn best through play. Through play our goal is to help guide children develop social skills, become independent and build self confidence in their daily routines. Aside from child initiated activities, we provide teacher facilitated learning where the teacher has planned activities based on the children's interests. Anna's Academy also helps prepare children academically that are entering TK/Kindergarten with the basic skills they need to enhance their learning experiences.
Our philosophy is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children. Children are knowledge builders, they apply what they have learned to different situations. Exploring, discovering, questioning, and guessing are very important activities. Their skills are developing through play, and concepts are being formed. At Anna's Academy, our goal is to provide a stimulating, sensitive environment that supports the child s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
