Stay away, they force you to pay cash only, not enough staff , not clean

My son started at A Learning Odyssey Daycare just before his first birthday this summer. At the time, I had a very hard time finding reviews and, even though my tour was wonderful, I was still so nervous about dropping him off at daycare for the first time. I am writing now so that other hesitant parents can rest assured that ALOD is a wonderful place.

After an initial few days of adjustment for both me and my son (probably harder for me!) he has not only loved ALOD, he has thrived there. He is more social, more talkative, and truly loves the staff. His legs start kicking and he starts excitedly pointing to the building as soon as we round the corner each morning. When I drop him off he puts out his arms and cuddles with one of the care givers. A remarkable thing to see since I had been so concerned in the weeks leading up to his start date. When we pick him up he is always playing and happy and is very well taken care of.

You cannot go wrong here. They love my son, are inventive and creative with activities and lessons (water table, sensory games, baby yoga, songs and stories). It is a scary process to let your child be taken care of by someone other than you, but I am so grateful for ALOD. They have become an extension of our family and I know that he is loved and cared for there.

I believe on all the reviews that i read, but i disagree on the negative sides because i know and parents who's been at the Odyssey Daycare since their younger children and siblings started there, the fact is the facts that no one lays hand on the children. The Staff treated the children as a part of the family. They've been taking care of these children 10 hours a day and give them care more than their own parents.
For a day of trying to be in this daycare and already saying the negative side is definitely not nice thing to say.

I agree to the owners post. I took tour at A Learning Odyssey Daycare and find it really exceptionally clean! I love that the daycare's curriculums flow from infant, young toddlers, toddlers and older children.

Anyone who comes to our Daycare can see for themselves that we may very well be the cleanest daycare. I invite everyone to come and take a tour. Our empathetic and nurturing staff care for the children is outstanding. We absolutely have no violations with the Department of Health and encourage you to do your own research.
