A Home Away From Home Daycare

I am 26 years old, married with two daughters ages 2 and 4. I have been around children all my life as my mother had an in-home daycare.

I provide a "homey" setting while keeping the children active and busy all day. I live off Raceway and 21ststreet on the westside We go to the neighborhood parks, pools, fields, walk on the B&O trail if weather permits or we stay inside and do crafts, art projects, play games and learn. The children also have their own garden which they take care of by learning to water and weed. They get to learn how to take care of the garden and then benefit from the finished product... strawberries, cucumbers, cantaloupe, blueberries and tomatoes! I don't use a television to keep children busy and quiet. I want the children in my care to learn, have fun, and feel like they are part of a family while here. I do not take more children than I can handle. I currently am looking to fill two full-time positions, which will be my only two full-time positions (I have two part-time children as well).
