Having worked for a nationally recognized daycare as a teacher, and subsequently having children of my own who were enrolled therein, I recognize the individuality of each child and will cater to their needs. Accepted children will have the opportunity of being exposed to the ranges of possibilities the world has to offer them through age appropriate activities which have included professional modeling and acting, science experiments, building activities for exposure to engineering and architecture, plants for biology, etc. Activities are undertaken and imbued with the "playfulness" indicative to ensuring it is enjoyable, which solidifies the link in their young mind between enjoyment and self development. I attended college in Columbus and received a Bachelors in education. I have extensive experience with the care of children of all ages and slightly more experience with infants and toddlers. Owners and all assistants are CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogen certified. Many years of combined experience! Each week we teach a new curriculum to the children that includes a weekly theme, vocabulary word, shape/color, letter, number and nursery rhyme. Arts and crafts, workbooks, puzzles, and tons of pretend play toys! We play outside every day and when the weather is nice we are outside both morning and afternoon!! My hours of care are from 7:00am-06:00pm 3rd shift nights available as well Monday-Friday and may be more flexible based on your needs. Weekend, date night, and emergency care may also available! -Breakfast (served until 8:30), lunch, and snacks will be provided. For infant care, you must provide formula/breast milk and baby food/snacks. -For infant care, you must provide diapers and wipes. -We are in Kettering school district close to Southdale Elemtary. If you need before and after school care, you must arrange bus pick-up and drop-off at my house. We are very conveniently located 5 minutes from Kettering Hospital 675 and 75. -When you return to pick your child up, I will provide you a daily sheet of events (eating, naps, diapering, activities, etc). Separate area for infants There are 2 of us working every day so the daycare will not close on you for illness or appointments! We also have back up assistants to help out when we are in need! Non-smoking house and as well as no pets. We work with children who have severe food allergies.
