Hello! My name is Heather. I am a wife and mother of two kids and another on the way! I have been running my own in-home child care since May 2013. I have 13 years experience working with children, as I grew up babysitting for my nephews and multiple families. I worked at several day care centers as an infant & toddler teacher, and was a stay at home mother. I have taken many training courses throughout the years as a daycare teacher - CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, Child Abuse, Infants, and Toddlers/Preschool. I decided to start babysitting from home so I could make an income and be with my children and because I love kids! I like to run our day very similar to Day Care Centers. I think it is so important for kids to have a routine and learn new things! We do Circle Time daily. This consist of learning our ABC's, counting 1-10, shapes, colors, animals, stories, games, going over the calendar, etc. We do Art most days, age appropriate, but it really just depends on the kids. Outside activities, weather permitting. Baking festivities, especially around the holidays. We have parties for Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years! I try my best to keep the kids busy! We do have movie days every now and then, usually when its a rainy day. But we don't sit in front of a TV all day!! *My hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m.* I provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks (once on table food). Discounted rates for multiple children. Before & After School care, as long as they have a ride to and from. Thank you!
