We are a Bronze Star rated center and our staff is very friendly and loving to our children they also write lesson plans in their classrooms. The children have fun learning in the classrooms. We have invested in certified Air Purifiers in all classrooms that kills lots of virus' and COVID germs. We are also proud of our center for being like family to each other. We have a warm loving center. We allow parents to tour anytime at their convenance but if they want to set a certain time to tour that is ok. Our entry has a coded locked door that the parents will get the code to enter. Anyone on the pick up list doesn't need the code they must stop at the window to the office and they will have to show a photo Id in order to pick up the child. You will feel that your child is safe, get plenty of one-on-one attention, and develop a love for learning through our unique approach to care. We have a playground on site. We are a part of CACFP (USDA nutrition program) and serve nutritious meals and snacks. We serve breakfast from 7:30am until 8:30am, lunch from 11:30 until 12:30, an afternoon snack from 3:00pm until 3:30pm finally we serve dinner from 5:00pm until 5:45pm. I have a great group of children that are looking for a new playmate to share smiles, laughter, and fun. I have one full time opening for ages 1 1/2 to 4 years old. I have been providing child care in my home for 35 years. I began by caring for a neighbor's child while I was at home with my own young children. My plan was to enter the work force after the children began kindergarten, but, before they began kindergarten, another family in the neighborhood needed child care. And so began my career in child care. As the years went by, my children went to middle school, high school, and have finished college, and I still have "children at home". I fell into child care by accident, but after all these years, I still find it a fun way to spend each day! I strive to ensure a safe, nurturing, and homelike environment for the children in my care. We have a wonderful playroom for the children. This provides a fun and safe area that is just for the children. Our backyard offers outdoor fun for all! The yard is enclosed with a 6' privacy fence and the play area is mulched with lots of play equipment. There is plenty of grassy area for running and playing. Our home is smoke-free, pet-free, clean and well-organized, while still being welcoming and comfortable. Our day is routine and lightly structured, I keep meals and nap times on a consistent time schedule. During the "school year", we have planned learning activities. Our activities are pre-planned and are included in the monthly newsletter and calendar. I try to keep the learning fun, age-appropriate, and engaging for all ages of the children in our group. I provide the extra attention that home based care provides, along with preschool activities that promote early learning in a much smaller setting. I was registered with Action for Children 1989 through 2016. Sadly this program has been discontinued. My husband and I have been fingerprinted and have background checks with local and federal databases, including the sheriff's office and a background check with Children Services.
