I decided to post on Care.com because I was thinking about how I could help out people on their kid's snow days or emergency situation days, please consider me if you are in a bind, that's for sure. Or over the kids school vacation break, I am available. I started out sitting for neighbors and enjoyed watching children so much, I have been watching them for 10 years. I am known by many, people as "the neighborhood sitter". I have children, 4, 7, 9, and 11 years old. They are just awesome and I adore the kids that I watch. I watch kids of all ages, before school, during the day and after school, full time and part time. I like to save the parents a buck or two rather than going to the centers and their kids come away with skills galore. We work on all sorts of academic skills. I ask the parents what they would like me to focus on with them on. I am dependable, only "backed out" less than a handful of times in 10 years for illness or a death in the family. I don't recall a child not enjoying coming to our home, we always have a great time. I have been blessed with having incredibly sweet, gentle children in my care for all of these years who care for each other and get along well. I am also a certified by the state as a Respite Provider, so have various certifications including First Aid and CPR and work with children/adults with disabilities. We recently moved one neighborhood over to a slightly larger home to accommodate our kids who are growing up so quickly. We now have a little more space for everyone, a spectacular toy room set up, a pretty, kid friendly backyard and I am thrilled to share it all with others. I am looking to fill 2 spaces with 2 kids who are a good age to travel around with. My kids will be off in the summer and it would be great to be able to take very local "field trips" to see things, do things and have a super fun summer break.

Students learn to collaborate, to be entrepreneurs, innovate, and be creative along with learning that they can learn from failure and trying again is part of the design process. The school is not about screentime and limits the use of screentime. We also bring in extra enrichments for students throughout the year. such as the museum on wheels, the aquarium, the conservatory, and more. EICK is a Monroe City Schools bus stop so before/after school-age students have school-provided transportation if they attend Monroe or Mother Theresa schools. All students participate in STEM projects instructed by our in-house STEM instructor. EICK also offers home schooled/remote learner STEAM Enrichments Monday through Thursday mornings. I am a mother of 4 boys ages 18, 14, 12 and 9. Five if you count the hubby! Babysitting has been my life for 16 years and I love every minute of it. I am also an Award Winning Artist who paints everyday life of animals. So along with our family we have 3 dogs and 2 cats. Here is a little explanation of my rates, rules and a little more about me. MY RULES ~ - You do NOT pay if you are not here. This helps with keeping sickness out of my home. I would rather you stay home with your sick child than to pay me. Sickness includes - fever, diarrhea, vomiting or rashes unless checked out by the Dr. - Ages NB to 18 months is $30 a day. Ages 18 months + is $25 a day. It's $5 an hour until you hit your price if it will be a half day that day. - I ask if you know in advance you are not going to be here if you could let me know so I can plan accordingly. Lunches - I supply sugar free juices and snacks but I ask all parents to bring a packed lunch. I try to push water especially in the summer time. This helps with keeping track of making sure your child is eating the foods of your choice. If you child drinks milk you can bring half gallon of milk to keep in my fridge. I can inform you when it's low. As of right now there are no allergies in the home. I am willing to cook or heat up anything that does not involve the stove. - If your child will be here 4-5 days a week I give parents the option to leave diapers here. I supply wipes. Once you get low on diapers I will write a note and put in lunch box. Normally a 3-5 day notice. - I rarely take off and if I do I give plenty of notice. My 14yr old has Friedreichs Ataxia and we try to plan all his main appointments in one day every 6 months. The rest is either my husband or our family helping us out. We do take a weeks vacation once a year in the summer. I have a fenced in yard, non smoker and kids are open to my whole main floor but my family room is one huge playroom where we read books, build train tracks, play doll house or a little movie for quiet time after lunch. Since I am an artist I love to draw pictures for the kids to color. Summer time is the best time for the outdoor messy projects! I am currently looking to fill a few spots starting soon due to teachers summer break and next school year 2 will be leaving me to start school. I am a clean, caring, fun loving mother who would love to have your child be a part of our family. Please feel free to call or text me at 513-910-5651 for more info.

The Kinder Garden School Blue Ash was founded in 2004 by Tami Lanham and Suzi Lenhart. The goal was to provide a unique and stellar educational experience for children ages 6 weeks through preschool. As the school grew, families requested that the school continue to offer low ratios, quality education and supportive care into a developing Montessori program. The school is founded on the principles of listening and responding to the changing needs of its families and community. The Kinder Garden School aligned ourselves with the principles of Maria Montessori’s educational theory of following the child and tailoring the curriculum to meet the changing needs of each student. These are the roots on which the school has developed. In 2006, based on parent requests, The Kinder Garden School added an additional location in West Chester. We also expanded our before and after school programs to include children in the Sycamore School District up through the end of 5th grade. We believe that fostering intellectual, entrepreneurial, technical talent, and design thinking will produce well-balanced students who will go on to become productive members of society. We embrace a culture of inclusion, expansion, accepting failures and refinement. These are the principles on which the school has been built and how the staff and student culture has evolved. Our quaint school offers a truly unique approach to learning.

Daily Child Care I take care of children in my home in Middletown, OH and surrounding areas. I mostly have preschoolers but I do have kids who come by way of bus after school. I am available 5 days a week every week of the year. I have an assistant working with me when one is needed. I offer all the love, cuddling, kisses and holding kids need. I love kids and wouldn't rather be doing anything else. Most of my current children have been with me most of their lives. I have toys and plenty of fun, educational activities and fill all their daily needs. I have cribs or cots for napping. We can go outdoors for activities including water play, play with balls, running, and walks. I will only do these things for the kids whose parents agree their child can go outside. I believe the parents' wishes come first and will only take a child out as long as I can do what the parents request. I am a former elementary school teacher for 11 years and have been doing daycare in my home for 8 years now. My rates are reasonable and fair. I can give you an idea of rates but we discuss specifics when we meet or talk. Please connect with me through Care.com and we can get started.

Hello, my name is Dana and I grew up right here in Southwest Ohio. My parents had 7 children and I have 26 nieces/nephews, so I have been around children my entire life! I graduated from Miami University in Oxford in 2005 and began my 8 year career as a district manager in real estate management. After 8 years, I left my position as a partner in this firm to do what I truly love, spend time with children. I live in a beautiful, clean home on 6 acres in Liberty Township, just a 3-minute drive to I-75 and OH-129. In March of 2015, I opened my 1000 square foot child care center in the privacy of my home. I have cared for all the same children since I opened. Some of my children have parents who are school teachers so they take the summers off, therefore, I have 2 available spots. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you and have a great day!
