However, after attempting to find daycare for my children I've noticed that there is a lack of high quality programs available and the monthly tuition can be outrageous. My son, Ethan, is six and enjoys going to elementary school and tae kwon do. My daughter is 2 years old and enjoys singing and dancing. My daughter was with a phenomenal caregiver while I was at work last year and every time I went to pick her up, she was smiling- she loved going! I'm excited to bring this enjoyment to other children and a sense of security for parents; as your child will be in a loving environment in which learning is taking place. I know mornings are a whirlwind of chaos when we go to work, therefore, to assist I will be providing lunches and snacks. I am a stay-at-home mom. I decided to not go back to work after I had my daughter in 2008. A friend of mine at that time needed someone to care for her 3-year-old daughter and asked me if I would be interested. I decided to give it a try and had so much fun that I decided to stay home permanently and babysit. I am not licensed as I have only babysat for family and friends. I have taken care of infants and toddlers so I have experience in both areas plus I am a mother of 4 (the older 2 are in high school/middle school). I love being home for my kids and I love that my children have made such nice friends with some of the children I have cared for. I believe that I offer a fun, safe and loving environment. My youngest just turned 2 in October and I have no plans of going back to work for many years. I am very reliable and don't mind watching kids if they have colds or sniffles. The only time I wouldn't care for a child was if they had a fever or were vomiting. My other daughter will be 5 in April and and is attending Pre-K in the Lansingburgh School District. My home is located in the town of Brunswick. I currently watch my neighbor's 2 daughters, ages 3 and 1, on Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 - 4 or so. I have been providing child care for this family for almost 3 years now. I can be flexible with times and wouldn't mind earlier drop off times. I would prefer to have the day end by 5:30 if at all possible but it is something that we can discuss.
