I am a stay-at-home mom. I decided to not go back to work after I had my daughter in 2008. A friend of mine at that time needed someone to care for her 3-year-old daughter and asked me if I would be interested. I decided to give it a try and had so much fun that I decided to stay home permanently and babysit. I am not licensed as I have only babysat for family and friends. I have taken care of infants and toddlers so I have experience in both areas plus I am a mother of 4 (the older 2 are in high school/middle school). I love being home for my kids and I love that my children have made such nice friends with some of the children I have cared for. I believe that I offer a fun, safe and loving environment. My youngest just turned 2 in October and I have no plans of going back to work for many years. I am very reliable and don't mind watching kids if they have colds or sniffles. The only time I wouldn't care for a child was if they had a fever or were vomiting. My other daughter will be 5 in April and and is attending Pre-K in the Lansingburgh School District. My home is located in the town of Brunswick. I currently watch my neighbor's 2 daughters, ages 3 and 1, on Thursdays and Fridays from 7:30 - 4 or so. I have been providing child care for this family for almost 3 years now. I can be flexible with times and wouldn't mind earlier drop off times. I would prefer to have the day end by 5:30 if at all possible but it is something that we can discuss. If you are looking for childcare for your child or children, in a home setting, I would be happy to chat via phone, email, or meet in person to discuss the possibility of having the privilege to care for your child/children.
