Pasco After School Child Care

well I'm a mother of a 3-year-old so let's start there lol. I love kids! I come from a big family with lots of children so I'm used to being around and taking care of them. I'm expecially well with young children and I'm available after school hours and/or nights for childcare. I know CPR and have taken childcare classes. I'm also willing to work with your schedule and can even show up last minute.

I am a very loving, very playful, and safe babysitter. I am a Sunday school teacher so I can if recommend teach your child about God. I have 2 years of nursing experience. I have my CPR for adults, kids, and babies, FIRST AID and HIV and Aids training I also have ECE training 2 years. I can fit to your specific parental standers or to meet the needs of your child/children. I love to go outside and take walks, go feed the ducks, garden, swim, and picnic. I am a good cook can meet each child's different likes for food. I have experience with special needs babies and kids. I don't mind animals I love all animals. I don't smoke or drink just in case your wondering.

I'm nicknamed as "mighty mom". I earned this title over the past 32 years of parenting, working with youth at risk, owning and operating a state licensed in-home childcare facility that ran similar to a Montessori school, and finally earning my Master's in Education as a school counselor. I've been teaching chorus to developmentally disabled youth/young adults for 28 years through the Parks & Rec Dept, and I am cleared through the Dept of Early Learning, WA State Patrol. I have my health certificates and all things required to work with kids. I'm re-locating the the Kennewick/Pasco area and am eagerly hoping to be that quite essential person in your life and will offer the best parenting next to you being there! My preference is newborn/infants and I have excellent references.

I have been in child care for over 8 years and have been working with and teaching kids and teens for 7. I have been/am a summer camp counselor, an after school tutor and I am great with kids of all ages. I have experience with both neurotypical children & children with autism. I have always enjoyed kids since I was little. I have grown up with babies around me. My youngest sibling was born when I was 12years old so I got to take care of her often. I am CPR/First Aid, food handlers, WA& Oregon background check/certified . I am 23 with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. I just moved to the area with two dogs and I am an Assistant at a preschool. Before I worked with infants 6weeks-3years old at a nonprofit licensed facility working with teen moms. In College I worked for a after school program with school aged kids.

I would babysit when I was in High school during the summer I would take care of 2 kids for my uncles or aunts. When ever they needed a day to go out or to work. I just moved from Kennewick, WA to Portland, OR, I'm currently transitioning from a demanding full time job, I'm trying to focus more on school and get ready to go back in the next six months or so; I plan on going to school for speech therapy and I want to work with children and the Deaf community. I have been wanting to take a hand at becoming a nanny overseas one of these days. I have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old. I have two younger siblings who were four and 6 years old at the time I started. I have three nephews, two of whom I have watched and helped care for since they were born. The newest edition will be turning 1 years old in September, the middle nephew is five and the oldest will be eight this year. I worked as a mentor for six months through an internship while I was attending Eastern. Through that I have worked with children ranging from ages three to 13, I have worked with a variety of children over my time in this field. I have also worked a caregiver directly with Developmentally Disabled adults, so I am very patient and kind. I will be available for full time, part time, one time and basically any type of sitting you would need.
