Overall I had the worst experience. The owner Mark Shamo will mKe you feel like you have made the best decision when you first sign up and pay for 20 classes but then once you start you realize what a scam it is. I have had four different instructors and they are all sad and highly unmotivated young kids who are just looking to make scraps of money. They would make me feel really dumb to the point that I couldn't even ask questions without getting looked at weirdly or made fun of. I ended up not looking forward to the SAT because I was prepared but instead until SAT when my classes would be done. The pricing is outrageous for tutoring ($120 an hour!!!) and I think the tutors get paid nothing for it because the way they tutor is as if they are babysitting and getting paid only $10 an hour.
The management is also crap so be prepared to have to come at the times they offer you. They don't work around clients schedules.
I found on Ant.com other tutors for $50 an hour and I wish I had done that instead. The tutors are real low quality people who don't care to explain and are always eager to clock out.
PSA: I had a tutor who checked her watch 8 times I counted!!!
