Saplings Academy

Saplings Academy is a private in-home preschool that strives to meet the needs of students who are ready for a more rigorous academic setting. We seek to work with students who are ready to move forward in their education, but are held back by the school cut off dates which prevents the students from moving forward. We offer internationally acclaimed curriculum and the chance for students to interact with students from all around the world. Our goal is to give students a well-rounded education that is tailored to their current needs. We seek to challenge and help them grow socially, physically, and academically in a small group setting.

In addition to our preschool program, Saplings also offers English after school programs for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. For our Kindergarten program we use an internationally acclaimed phonics program paired with sight word practice to have students reading and writing in no time. Our elementary program focuses on reading comprehension, grammar, and writing. Each month, the students will work through a reading study, have grammar lessons, and do various writings that follow the writing process. We also will be offering PARCC test preparation for grades 3-5 starting in January.

Our teacher is a K-6 certified teacher and has been teaching English and Early childhood for the past 5 year overseas and in the states. She seeks to engage and challenge students in the class in a comfortable setting where learning can flourish.
