Hi, my name is Nancy G! I'm a fun and nurturing mother of three loving young boys and a puppy! I love working with children and enjoy helping families out! I I like to engage children in developmentally appropriate and fun activities like reading books, art, and pretend play. I am a certified paraprofessional with Board of Education experience working with special education children in schools. I am an experienced Nanny and caregiver with 10 years+ experience. I have provided child care for infants and young children, ages ranging new born to 8 years of age in their homes and outdoors, like a walk to the park, visit to the library or museum, engaging child in extracurricular activities like art classes and play dates... etc. I also have experience as a companion/assistant helper for parents who need an extra hand where I cooperated and assisted families with their daily tasks. I am also open for providing child care for date nights!

I worked for Island Home Nursing for a year in my hometown. I worked with a very wide range of patients. I took care of a very sweet and intelligent women, who was 18 yrs in age and was deaf, and had cerebral palsy. I have also worked with young man in his teens that had autism. As well as geriatric care.

I have worked with children who are Deaf, children with bilateral cochlear implants, children with autism, children with cancer and blood disorders, children who are blind or visually impaired, and children who use wheelchairs. I am a strong believer in the nuances of communication--we all communicate uniquely! I will meet your child wherever s/he is; I will seek to communicate at your child's level and build our bond from there, to aid in your child's growth and development, and fun. I have experience catering activities and art projects to suit children with special needs, and I am comfortable asking questions and I am committed to creating a safe environment for your child wherever we are.

I'm great with children all ages (newborns & special needs). I'm very loving, caring, and patient. All children tend to get used to me quickly.
