I have four years experience with Special Needs children of all ages. I can care for Autistic children to caring for Tracheotomy, feeding tubes, administering meds, etc.... I also have four years experience with adults diagnosed with Alzheimer, Dementia, Parkinson's. I can also help with all grooming needs (Can use a lift if needed.) and maintaining Colostomy bag. I left a management position in April to pursue my own business. My mission is to provide the same quality care that a family member would at a reasonable price. I believe in compassionate care. Hello, my name is Jacquelyn. I worked for Canyon ISD for 4 years as a substitute teacher. I worked with Pre-K through Junior High students. I have experience with Special Needs children/Non Special Needs. During those 4 years, I spent approximately 30% of the time being the nurse. After the first 4 years with Canyon ISD, I took a full-time position at Canyon Intermediate where I stayed for 6 more years. I have spent the last 2. 4 years managing a Family Health Clinic. I am CPR/First Aid Certified. I have experience with Diabetes, feeding tubes, tracheotomies, checking vital signs, Autism, Down Syndrome, asthma/Chronic lung disease. I am a graduate student pursuing my masters in Speech-Language Pathology. I do not have as much experience as I'm sure many other people but I have worked with children at camps, VBS, and I spent a couple weeks working with children with special needs in Belize. I love working with children and hope to find a career as an SLP in a school setting.

I have been watching kiddos for over six years. I am a sophomore Sports and Exercise Science major at West Texas A&M so I love to keep kids involved, active and busy!! I have worked for families with special needs children, as well as families with multiple children and pets. I am very reliable and dependable with a clean driving record and multiple references. :)
