Our daughter is 13 months old, cute as a button, and has diagnoses of Down syndrome and congenital heart defects (has had surgical repair). Much of her daily life it just like that of any other 1-year-old, but she does get all of her nutritional intake via a g-tube. Experience with individuals with Down syndrome or g-tube feeds is great, but not required. She loves to play, loves to smile and blow raspberries, loves music, and is working hard on lots of skills she is developing with the help of in-home PT, feeding, and speech therapies. Schedule is currently 20 hours per week (can be flexible with how this is scheduled), with potential to increase hours later this year. Additional needs include having a reliable car. Family Age Groups: Infant. Diagnosis: Heart Defects, Down Syndrome.
