Part Time
S is 13yrs old and has Smith Magenis Syndrome. She is extremely lovable and makes friends very quickly. S is not fully potty trained and requires a pullup. She is capable of going to the restroom and changing herself, but it can be difficult to get her to follow directions at times. The person that will be watching her will need a lot of patience and experience. She needs a care giver that understands how to speak to her in a way that gets her excited to follow directions. This would be a great opportunity for a student who has a major focused in exceptional childrens program or in therapies of some sort. S's time is split 50/50 with her father and I. So help is needed on a week on/week off basis. Must have a valid license, clean driving record and references. Additional needs include pick up / drop off, light housekeeping, meal prep, having a reliable car and being comfortable with pets. Family Age Groups: Teen. Diagnosis: Cognitive Disabilities, Developmental Delays, Speech Delay.
