Part Time Companion/care Giver/errands/ Light House Keeping
I'm a senior myself who can relate to our more seasoned life. Empathy and patience towards loss of independence, are talents that can be used for something good. Stresses, and not enough hours in a day, can become all to challenging, I know. Been there, done that. Both of my own parents, my wife's parents, along with helping neighbors, people from church, and assisting my wife in her companion /care giver roles has given me some experience with others. I enjoy running errands and keeping appointments etc. I love family, God, and country. I've done a little traveling, play cards, maintain my own home, enjoy a sense of humor, raised a family, and worked all my life. My wife has companion/care giver experience, so a senior husband/wife team caring for a senior couple is ideal for us, either at same time or not. My own mother broke her hip twice, while in assistant living, and my mother in-law lost most of her hearing and balance for a few years. Things happen. We adjust, we stay positive.
