Elite Scholars Christian Academy

52 Forest Road, Valley Stream, NY

Costimate: $276/wk

Elite Scholars Christian Academy is committed to creating a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program that s designed to promote social, academic, physical and moral growth needed for the children to be prepared for their transition to Kindergarten.

Toddler (Ages 12mos-3): Our toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play. Gross motor skills and social skills are developed through both structured and unstructured play. Their days are filled with music, art, dance, story times and more.

Preschool (Ages 3-4): Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum we follow is packed with educational elements. Games abound that teach pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letter and sound recognition; basic math concepts; and hands-on science exploration.

Pre-Kindergarten (Ages 4-5): The Pre-Kindergarteners focus on reading, early writing, and basic math. Foreign language, science, social studies, art, music and physical education round out the learning.

Elementary/After School (Ages 5-12): School-age children are given a quiet environment for homework and projects, with supervised access to computers and assistance as needed. Also available to elementary students are crafts, games and physical activities.

Elite Scholars is a loving, caring Christian environment where a child is nurtured and supported as they leave home and go off to school. It is in this environment that we tenderly lead each child we serve, to adjust to being away from home while at the same time, help them learn social skills for life.

The Program is also about the task of developing academic skills that will prepare our students for Kindergarten and for life. We feel solid, fundamental education is vital for our students and if those skills are taught at any early age, they are more prepared for future learning.

We have the desire to lead our children to be healthy for life. Along with the social and academic skills, we promote physical skills as well. The students are taught small and large motor skills.

We believe that the Bible is our most important moral guide to life. Thus, students are taught stories from the Bible that enables them to see what behaviors are proper and pleasing to God. This is by no means the last or the least skill taught to our students.

Dear Caring Parent:

The first question you should have on your mind is: Why Little Leadership Academy?

Your Child is the most valuable part of your life. And because you love them so much, you want them to have the best things in life. You may buy them the best coats, clothes, and shoes. If your children are like mine, they quickly grow out of these things. Isn't it time you gave them something, they can grow into?

Little Leadership Academy allows your child a unique opportunity to grow into the person for which God intended them to be. L.L.A. provides a safe environment that cultivates high academic achievement and the foundation for strong spiritual formation.

Your baby is precious! In the world today, you want to know that your little one is not in an environment where anything goes or in the hands of those not responsible enough to properly care for your child.

You deserve peace of mind. They deserve peace of mind. Jesus says, "Let the little children come to me!" When you decide for your child to attend Little Leadership Academy, you decide to leave them in the safe, nurturing, forming hands of Jesus.
