I am a group family daycare provider in my home. I have been in business for 19 years. I have 1 assistant and we care for no more than 12 plus 2 school age at any time. We run a preschool program and offer daycare services. I am mother and grandmother. I love children and love to watch them learn and grow. We have two classrooms infant room and Preschool room. I have my CDA and Infant toddler credential, staff is CPR and First aid certified and receives ongoing training as well. Library comes once a month and reads to children as well as leaves us with a bag full of books and puzzles to enjoy for the month. We go outside everyday in all weather, our outside classroom consist of a drama area with stage, art area, water play during summer, garden for kids to plant and enjoy home grown vegetables,, music, reading area and sand and dirt area with outdoor play kitchen. We give your child the experience of a center based daycare and the love and nurturing of a home the best of both worlds. My program has been in the quality stars program since it was a pilot program. Feel free to call to set up an appointment or if you have any questions.

This is the best of both worlds between center based and home daycare. The space is a renovated two car garage that creates a classroom setting and baby room. Having two providers creates oversight and there is a structured day with no tv. In addition Donna goes out of her way to personalize the care to every child and both herself and Tiffany are so loving with the children and the consistency of caregiver could never be matched at a center. Donna prioritizes outdoor time having an outdoor classroom and doing water play every day in the summer. Both my girls are currently enrolled there and we've been very happy.

11 Island Bay Ave, Middle Island, NY

Starting at $65/day

Recently I became a stay at home mom and would like to offer child care for no more than two children in my home. I have nearly 16 years experience in child care. I worked as a nanny for my niece from October 1999 to September 2004, raising her until she was off to Kindergarten. After this experience, I worked at Kiddie Academy in Wading River from September 2004 to March 2015. My main responsibility was as a lead Pre-K teacher. Other responsibilities included opening the school, managing staff, caring for school age children and getting them on the bus. Since then, I have become a proud mother of a baby girl. I feel that the first five years of a child's life are so precious and with that i want to combine my two child care experiences. I plan to provide stimulating activities to nurture each stage of development and wish to inspire developmentally appropriate growth while in a warm and comforting home environment. If you share my vision of how a child might spend their first precious years, please contact me for further information. Thank you for listening.
