In today's world, parents work hard juggling work and family commitments. It's very important that parents take time for themselves and enjoy some time alone to recharge their batteries. We offer events for children from 7:30 p.m to 10:30 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night so parents can enjoy some much needed time off.

Details:

-Every Friday and Saturday night.
-Parents can drop-off their kids at: 7:30 p.m. and pick them up at 10:30 p.m.
-The cost is $45 per child or $40 per child for Kids Allowed Students.
-Your children will have a variety of fun games and activities, dancing, a movie.
-Water, juice and a snack is included.
-Limited seats are available, reservations are required.

At Butler Nursery School, we believe that children thrive in an age appropriate program within a safe and nurturing environment. We offer a curriculum designed to foster their growth, stimulate their curiosity, and challenge their mental and physical needs. We encourage the development of socialization skills and the building of self-esteem, while respecting each child's uniqueness as an individual. The classrooms at Butler Nursery School are bright and cheerful. We have a large, mural indoor playroom and a well-equipped outdoor playground. Play is an important aspect of child development. Through play, children explore the world around them by learning how to socialize with others, expressing feelings through language, testing muscular skills, and developing math concepts. We enrich this play through reading, music, art, cooking, and dramatic play.

We offer half day programs to children age 2-4. Programs are offered 2, 3, and 5 days a week (days offered varies based on age). We do not require that a child be potty-trained before entering school. The school year runs from mid-September to early June, and a six-week summer camp is also available.

Some daily activities include free play, music, snack time, playground time, painting, story time, dress-up, circle time, and water play. Throughout the year, Butler holds special events such as our International Dinner, Holiday Festival, Christmas Tableau, and Easter Chapel Services.

Butler is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood in Northeast Yonkers. The Butler Nursery School is a program of St. John's Episcopal Church, Tuckahoe, and is founded on the highest Christian and educational standards. We share the teachings of Jesus Christ through stories, holiday observances, grace before snacks, and child-oriented chapel services. My name is Jenny and I have been associated with daycares since 1999. I have four of my own children, the youngest being 14. I began running a daycare because I needed the service for my own children. There was no one to pick up my second youngest child from the bus stop while I was home with my youngest child.

The goal of Jenny's Loving Daycare INC. is to provide your child with a nurturing, loving, and caring environment. My facility and staff are MAT certified, being that they are able to administer medication in the case that your child may be sick. There are guidelines that we follow as of January 5, 2005 for administering medication. For your child's safety we do conduct monthly fire drills and practice with the children on where to meet in a case of a fire and how to safely leave the facility if one does occur.

My facility also provides a very stimulating curriculum for all ages. For infants, story time, floor play and music time is used to stimulate their minds and bodies. They are given toys that consist of different textures for their sense of touch. Young toddlers have music, story time and arts & craft time. They are encouraged to color using their imagination and take part in projects appropriate for their age. Toddlers begin practicing writing their names, numbers and alphabets. We also encourage them to participate in projects that are age appropriate. They are able to paint, use chalk and even attempt to cut out their own pictures for their projects. School age children receive after school help with their homework and when there is no homework assigned then they are able to create their own projects to take home.

We encourage active play, when the weather permits, the children have outdoor play. They are able to play with basket balls, draw with chalk and play on the backyard play-set. My staff and I encourage your children to grow and develop using their own mental capabilities with our guidance.

My facility is filled with lots of love, kindness, compassion, nurturing, cleanliness, fairness and learning. I would not expect any less for my own children and would not provide any less for your loved ones.

Here at The Children 's Club licensed daycare, we have put together along with the support of fellow teachers an excellent program. It offers the comfort of home along with the structure of a school. It brings together an abundance of exciting and fun learning activities that encourage growth. It is truly beyond doubt a warm, safe, happy and caring place where learning and fun are combined to give each child the tools necessary for growth and development. We work hard to teach our children. Our goal is to get them ready for Pre-K. We are constantly changing our curriculum while maintaining basic methods that we believe nurture children 's learning. We currently operate 5 NYS licensed daycares.

Weekly, morning drop-off care and fun for 3-6Y olds. Starting the week of August 5 and ending August 30, pick your week, pick your theme. Come 1 week or as many weeks as you'd like to fill your August days. Camp consists of 2.5 hrs of warm up games, stories and movement, arts & crafts, cooking, science, problem solving, group play, yoga and more. Prospect Academy (former Country Day Nursery School), located in White Plains, NY, is a multilingual, Montessori-based education center for children ages 3 through 6.
