My son has been attending Kids Are People (KAP) for 2 years now and we are very happy and blessed with our experience with them. As a new parent also new in the area, had no family member or friend around, finding the best childcare was incredibly hard. After several options we tried, we found KAP. My son loves going to KAP and we parent feel like dropping him off at"family" home who we trust.

I chose and recommend KAP because

1.Family daycare (Feel like home, being surrounded by people had a great influence on my son's social skill)

2.Mixed-age class (My son is the only child, therefore, I wanted him to have friends like brothers and sisters, now he has many of them! )

3.Outside activity (Fabulous backyard/playground. Morning and afternoon outside activity all year round helped my son's physical development. )

4.Multiple activities every day and every season (Songs, dances, arts, pretend-play, seasonal events. He loves reading, singing and dancing thanks to their fun activities. We as a new parent always learn from their activities as well so that we can do the same at home.)

5. Transparency and Safety (They share their activities daily, photos and videos occasionally, which make us laugh, happy and assured. Their cleanness level is always super high.)

6. Wonderful Teachers (All teachers we have and had in previous years are all loving and caring. My son loves them so much, we as parents love having a conversation with them, we are so thankful with their love, passion and hard work. Also, Mr Michael who runs Kids Are People 2 now, has been a hero for my son. )

7. Ms Rosalie's experience and passion (she is an extraordinary experienced teacher, mother and grandmother. Her passion for teaching and learning is illuminating. Also, as a parent, we learn a lot from her experience. When I struggle parenting, I ask her advice, and it is always right. )

Our son has been going to Kids are People for about 2 years and we couldn't be happier. The staff is excellent and I feel comfortable each day knowing his safety and development are being considered fully. The communication is clear and constant so we always know what's happening, and we love the daily updates where we hear about the fun activities he enjoyed or an interaction with his friends. We're so happy we found this daycare!

All of my 3 children have gone to Kids are People. My son started daycare at 2 years. He would not focus and had problems listening. But Ms. Rosalie and the teachers have worked so hard on him and with persistence and love he has become more focused and his listening skills have improved. My youngest daughter started school at 18 months. I feel the younger the children start the more they can get out of daycare. My daughter's language skills have improved by leaps and bounds since joining the daycare. She is 20 months now and speaks full sentences and participates in conversations with others. She has also learned to sit quietly and eat independently during lunchtime. I always find her eager to go to school and when I pick her up she appears happy and well-loved by all her teachers. Ms. Rosalie, Ms. Maya, Ms. Alex and Ms. Paula thank you for a tremendous job. Your love and dedication to the children is priceless.

This is the best daycare that I could find in the area. Ms. Rosalie does an excellent job running this place. Kids get lots of individual attention, but also have plenty of time to practice their social skills by playing together. Daily schedule is composed of various activities to keep children busy and never bored. At the same time, children are free to walk around the room and choose games they want to play. For example, if your child does not feel like participating in a particular activity, he/she can find something else to play with and still have fun. I find this flexibility to be essential for acclimating children to the new environment of a day care and feeling more like at home. There are many musical instruments and Ms. Rosalie incorporates songs into many activities, so if your child is a budding musician, he will enjoy mastering his skills here. My son mentions playing drums or piano almost every day. Children go to play outdoors in a big yard all year around and spend more time outdoors compared to other daycares that I've looked into. They play in a large backyard that has a nice playground and a big lawn, plus there is a paved area along the building where they can use bicycles and other ride on toys.
I love the individual daily updates that Rosalie emails to every parent. This definitely helps when you talk to a 2 y.o. about his day.
While snacks are provided, parents are responsible for bringing lunch (and snacks of their choice) for their child. Although some people might find it as an inconvenience, I actually prefer it this way. I would like my child to have healthy homemade meals and I was not able to find a daycare with a menu that would meet my expectations.
Besides all of above, the most important thing to me is that I see my child happy. He started attending Kids are People as a shy 22 month old baby that never spend a day outside of his home without me being next to him. I was surprised and relieved by how quickly he was able to transition into going to daycare. Ms. Rosalie worked with me on making this process as smooth as possible. I was spending first few days together with my son at the daycare, then leaving him there just for few hours, until he was fine to go the entire day without me. This transition time was important not just for my son, but for me as well. I had an opportunity to observe how this daycare operates and I was happy to see that it's a fun and safe place with caring staff.

We are so thankful to have found Kids are People. Kids are People was our first day care experience but it is far from your typical daycare. Mrs. Rosalie and staff run the center like a preschool and the children's day if filled with opportunities to learn and grow. Mrs. Rosalie and staff are loving and attentive and are great with communicating your child successes as well as things to work on together... at home and at "school". Our family loves being outdoors and we love the amount of time the children spend outdoors all year round.

Our 3 year old son has been attending since he was 2 1/2 and has had a very positive experience. The staff are incredibly attentive to his needs as well as the needs of all of the children. For example, they have handled his food sensitivities with great care and compassion. They have also shown great dedication to all aspects of my sons' and his classmates' development: academic, through frequent exposure to reading, songs, and math-related exercises; physical, through frequent outdoors and indoors games; social, through an emphasis on kindness and respect for one's friends; and emotional, through nurturing in each child the ability to express his/her feelings in words. Overall, we feel we have found a gem in Kids Are People Inc.!

My son started here when he was 18 months old. This place is the best thing to happen to my son. Ms. Rosalee is truly one of the best teachers who has a great passion for teaching and helping a child grow. We had to move because of commute time but we truly miss this place and so does our son

My daughter entered kids are people when she was 16 months old. That was her first experience in a daycare, and she did not know a word of English as we were just arriving from France. But Rosalie and her staff succeeded in making her comfortable, and now she is very happy being there. The staff is very dedicated to the children, and the program is adapted to the needs and skills of each child. They learn a lot and play as well, indoor or in the large garden where they can enjoy a great playground. They dance, sing, do art work, read books, work on language and maths. My daughter is now just two years old, and she can recognise some alphabet and count to 3! When I drop her, I am confident that she will have a good day at kids are people, and when I pick her up, I know she had. I highly recommend this daycare to families who care about their children.

My son has only been at Kids R People for a few months, and in the few months he has flourished immensely. He is only 2 1/2 and is so happy everyday to go to school. Even when I pick him up he is full of joy, which is a huge relief for me. Each week he comes home with beautiful art work, they give us photos, even after the first week, Mrs Rosalie made a photo album explaining what my son likes to learn, play and eat. I feel very comfortable knowing He is in a safe environment, with such loving and kind teachers.

My son was a Kids R People from 2 to 5yrs old. First off he was happy every day. Rosalie is very dedicated to the children and loves every day she is working with the children. That flows over to the rest of her staff. The program is small enough to cater to specific needs of each child. It has diverse programs throughout the year. The kids are taught a variety of language in play including sign language, music, Chinese, and Spanish. As a professional, my job takes me to a variety of small and big daycares/preschool around the county. Kids R People is by far above the rest in safety, cleanliness, detailed communications daily and more with parents, and changing of stimulation/toys throughout the year. I do not have the space to write more, but if my son could have stayed and been home school at Kids R People I would have kept him on!

My son has been attending Kids Are People for 1.5 years, from the time he was 2 years old. It is run with a full program typically available only in large daycare centers - extensive arts and crafts, music and singing, large outdoor facilities including playground, holiday performances, weekend family field trips, photo CDs of daycare activities. It is clean and well-organized and the staff is very attentive. I would highly recommend Kids Are People.

My daughter began attending Kids R People, Inc. when she was 15 months old and the staff helped her flourish right away. They ran the business like a preschool, constantly teaching and educating, yet also allowing the kids to play and be creative. My daughter learned so much and was well taken care of by all of the staff members. I highly recommend this program to parents who are looking for a daycare setting for their child/children. I no longer live in the area and am having a hard time finding a daycare environment that was as great at Kids R People Inc.
