As long as it's not raining or heavy snow, I bundle them up and get them out at least for a little while. If we can't get outside, I try to at least have them get some exercise by doing things like dance parties or kids yoga. I love reading to them, doing arts and crafts projects, playing games and singing songs. I am a big believer in play-based learning so I try to give the kids free time to use their imaginations and learn how to interact with each other socially but I also do structured activities like art projects and circle time.
