Children in my care enjoy a variety of activities such as arts and crafts, music and sign language, cooking and baking, playing outside, and lots of free time to explore their world. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we run a preschool prep program with a weekly theme, letter, and number. The program is light, and not pushed on the children. With the children all being under 3, we like to watch them and base our day off of their interest level. We take a very hands-on approach to teaching basic preschool prep. The children learn their colors, numbers, and letters through play and games. For example: "Tell me how many cars you see, what color is this one?" We keep all of the children under 3 years old, to keep the group's interests similar. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack is provided.
