We are expecting a baby girl in April and are beginning to look for childcare (in our home) for when my husband and I go back to work after parental leave. We both work from home full-time. Our baby girl will be about 5 months old at that point. Because we both work from home, we may be able to pop in and out to pitch in or assist when needed. Our ideal match will meet the requirements below and must be someone we have complete trust in. We also have a friendly and sweet dog (a French Bulldog), so please consider that when applying. -CPR and first aid certified -fully up to date on vaccinations -absolutely no smoking or drugs -must own a reliable car with a valid driver's license -must be willing to pass a background check

About who needs care: Need home care after surgery. Helping get up out of bed, Shower and help down stairs, Help going to bathroom I mean getting to rest room and then help upstairs to go to bed. Would only be for approx 2 weeks and looking at 4-6 hours a day give or take. About who needs care: Our mother is 84 years old. She has MS and is confined to her power chair and scooter. Mentally she is super sharp but does get confused sometimes. Her arms work-Cannot stand or walk. She needs assistance 2 x's a week for the following: 1. Help in or out of the shower 2. Washing her hair 3-4 times a month 3. Running the vacuum through her house 4. Helping her change linens on her bed 5. Deep cleaning showers or tubs, because she cannot bend down. 6. Any household tasks that she cannot do because she cannot reach. 7. putting away things that she cannot reach to put away 8. Walking her dog for 15 minutes around her property 9. Possibly running an errand of returning something for her to store or post office. 10. Possibly some light meal prep--but not sure about this. Caregiver must be honest and trustworthy Caregiver must make her feel like she still has all the decision making and independence--yet be firm with not letting her over extend herself physically beyond her capabilities Caregiver must take and not wait to be told what to do or what to help with. Itemized list each visit will be worked off of until there is a flow of responsibilities that become second nature. I am looking for respite care for my 85-year-old mother. My husband and I are her primary care providers. We moved to a large one story home a year ago to take care of my parents. My father passed in March 2021 of Alzheimer's dementia. We are looking for someone to spend an occasional afternoon or evening with mom while we spend quality time together (eg; going on a hike, snow skiing, or an evening date.) Currently, mom requires stand-by assistance for two ADL's. (Bathing, dressing) We're looking for someone to provide quality companionship. She enjoys sewing, crocheting and puzzles. Weather permitting, she enjoys a stroll outside. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and comfortable with pets. (We have two small dogs.) I need senior care provider with experience. Our care concerns are: Medication Prompting, Light Housekeeping, Mobility Assistance, Feeding, Meal Preparation, Companionship, Errands / Shopping, Transportation. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Responsibilities include feeding. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. Part of your responsibilities will include running errands. You'll be responsible for transporting to/from appointments.
