Super Fun Babysitter Needed In Liberty Park For The Summer And Beyond

Full Time $15 – 18/hr Starts 05/17 Birmingham, AL
We are a young and fun family who just moved to Liberty Park last year. Our girls are sweet- silly- and well mannered but otherwise opposites! One loves to read- golf- code- and follow all the rules. The other loves to speak to her imaginary deer population in her made up language while ripping jumps off her bike trying to get a band aid. They couldn't love each other more and we feel the same! This summer we are looking for a fun and creative babysitter who will work regular hours w/ us this summer- but also be available for date night evenings and overnight weekends both this summer and into the next few years. Would also love someone willing to travel on vacations with us so we can have a perfect balance of family and couple time. Our ideal caregiver: We're looking for someone who is fun- outgoing- and creative-- willing and able to run around outside and swim in the pool with our girls. Someone who will come up with fun activities to do together and be silly and sweet--just like our girls. Someone who will arrive on time and has a good driving record and reliable transportation. Additional needs include light housekeeping, being comfortable with pets, having a reliable car, a non-smoker. We could use help with homework or curriculum assistance. Looking for care Tuesdays (8am-2pm), Wednesday , Thursdays (10am-3pm), Fridays (6am-12pm), Saturdays (6am-12pm). Flexible start date. My schedule may vary.

Babysitter To Nanny, For 2 Precious Boys

Part Time $12 – 40/hr Starts 04/17 Birmingham, AL
Looking for someone able to take care of two school aged children. Initially we'd love for someone to provide care as a babysitter for date nights. Our hope would be to have someone that could transition towards a full time nanny position if it's a good fit. We need a provider who can provide transportation to/from extracurriculars, can assist with directing the children towards completing homework, and provide engaging activities for the children if weekend care is needed. Additionally we need a provider who is flexible, timely, has reliable transportation, and is patient. The children will require structure, patience, clear communication, and someone who will be able to continue with clear boundaries we've established. We have a preference for someone who is active, as our kids participate in a multitude of extracurriculars and we have a limit on screen time. Additionally CPR certification / water safety, meal prep, sick care, and light house keeping are a plus. Overall we are a structured family, but my husband and I work flexible jobs with rotating schedules. Therefore a nanny may have to provide flexible care (within reason). There will be opportunity for growth beyond this as well. Lastly, if you are looking for a opportunity to provide babysitting services with plans for transitioning towards a full time nanny and become a part of our active, wild, and joyful household, please inquire!
